Not a great day...

So, the bad news: the guitar I was planning to sell to finance a full 25% of my new guitar purchase turns out to not be worth a goddamned thing. So now it is only covering 10%, and I've got to find a way to make up the difference. Anyone want to buy a kidney? In the plus column, I got an extra $20 knocked off of the $1810 cost of the guitar. So that puts me 1.3% closer. Yay? Got to focus on the positive...

Yeah, OK... I feel better now. The whole thing with the guitar took up half of last night and most of my attention today, and I felt so crap that I took a 4-hour nap this afternoon. The whole thing was just frustrating and exhausting. So I decided that once I get the Les Paul, I have to buy a Taylor acoustic and a new amp.

New amp. Someone help me buy a new amp! We need a fundraiser! If everyone on the Internet sends me a dollar, I can buy a new amp and send a few hundred million dollars to Japan! If everyone who reads this blog sends me a dollar, I can get a set of guitar strings and a cup of coffee... this is maybe not the great idea it first seemed to be. Anyoo... Fender? Marshall? Both? Neither?

Gotta be sort of ICONIC, which means maybe both. There are good problems and bad problems, and thing is a good one. Distracts me from the horrors of modern life.
