Here's what I had a couple of weeks ago:
I've changed things up a bit. I've got a lot fewer pedals now:
And I switched the pickups on my Les Paul from nickel covered BurstBuckers to Slash signature pickups. Zebra!
I've been spending a lot of time lately thinking about getting rid of what I have to get new stuff. The problem is that I traded away all of the stuff in that first picture (plus lots of cash) to get the stuff I have now, and I really wish I had the stuff I used to have. Not instead of, also. Maybe that's not fair or practical, but that's who I am and how I feel. So I've decided that I am NEVER trading or selling anything again, barring financial disaster. If I want a different sort of guitar or amp, I have to buy another guitar or amp.
This isn't going to exactly make my wife happy... but all this trading and selling is actually more expensive in the long run, and doesn't make either of us happy. Now who is going to help me collect donations for my new gear? If everyone who reads this blog sends me a dollar, I'll have... 18 dollars.
